TALLER TIDES

Taller Tides is a high-energy indie band blending rock and jazz influences into original songs about life, love, and growing up. Fronted by Ella Mia (vocals, rhythm guitar) who brings a powerful, sensitive, and joyous touch to her music and cares deeply about empowering aspiring musicians, the group met in a high school jazz band and has been playing off and on together ever since.

Reconnecting after spending time outside of the Bay Area, the group clicked immediately after several jam sessions and began performing around the city shortly thereafter.

With a blend of guitar pyrotechnics, a smooth rhythm section, and songs that range from Amy Winehouse-inspired ballads to speedy Latin-Jazz reflections on loneliness, Taller Tides is an exciting new group that brings new dimensions to a distinctly San Francisco sound.
